THE FAILURE OF TERROR IN IRAQ

The truth behind the Pearl murder may never be known. It is clear, however, that the subsequent beheadings in Iraq were not related in any way.

Al-Qaeda clearly used the beheadings of innocent bystanders for terror’s sake. A classic Islamafacist tactic that failed. If anything the beheadings in Iraq only served to further the resolve of Coalition forces in that theatre of operations.

With the stunning U.S. attack on and subsequent death of terrorist leader Abu Musab al-Zarqawi earlier this year the beheadings stopped. The struggling terror units continuing to operate after al-Zarqawi’s death managed only to fight a futile retreat.

Their finish came just days ago when U.S. Forces operating under the SURGE ordered by President George W. Bush routed the remaining Al-Qaeda fighters from Baghdad.

The media will not use the V-word, but I certainly can. The SURGE worked and the second smaller war in Iraq is won. Slowly American troops can now begin returning home with a well earned VICTORY. America should welcome them with open arms.

Amazing! Even the New York Times has admitted the SURGE in Iraq ordered by President Bush has worked. Looks like we win! For excerpt from the Times article (hidden on page A-33) read below:

NEW YORK TIMES

.....This week the reports from Iraq continue to be positive. Tribal sheiks are working together across religious lines. Violence is at 21 month lows throughout much of the country, even in Baghdad.

The increased participation and cooperation among the Iraqi people to defeat the insurgents and terrorists is producing positive results and less violence.

The reports of Al Qaeda being caught, eliminated, and sent running continue to come on an almost daily basis. Local streets and markets continue to open and slowly return to normal.

Our surge troops are now starting to head home. We're on our way back to 140,000 troops by July, and hopefully less than that in the months to follow.

The question now is whether or not the positive effects of this strategy will continue as our presence decreases.

If the Iraqi troops stick to what they've been trained to do, the Iraqi people continue to reject Al Qaeda and the extremist Shiite militias, and if the people continue to take ownership and work toward the positive futures they hope for, I have confidence they can make their country work as we decrease our presence and slowly bring our troops home......

WHAT IS A TERRORIST ?
IF THE AMERICAN POLICY CONSISTS OF LEAVING ITS MARK AND INTERMINGLE IN THE MIDDLE-EAST ON A CONTINUOUS BASIS, AND IF ALL THAT IS SUPPOSED TO BE 'LEGAL' ("BECAUSE IT IS EXECUTED BY A GOVERNMENT, THE AMERICAN GOVERNMENT, AND THE AMERICAN GOVERNMENT IS ALWAYS RIGHT"), AND IF I WANT TO DEFEND MY INVADED COUNTRY BY THE AMERICANS BECAUSE I DOUBT THIS 'LEGAL POLICY'...
DOES THAT MAKE ME A TERRORIST ??
NO, IT DOESN'T ! EVEN A CHILD KNOWS THAT...
THE ACTIONS OF A POWERFUL POLICY (THE AMERICAN POLICY) DO NOT JUSTIFY ITS RIGHTEOUSNESS ON A CONTINUOUS BASIS SIMPLY BECAUSE THEY ARE POWERFUL.
KEEP THAT IN MIND.
